Address Verification Service APIs

Various industries rely on address verification services to ensure that the addresses on their mailing lists are accurate. This helps to increase customer satisfaction and reduce the risk of fraud.

The IPQS Address Verification service is designed to check and validate addresses for a variety of countries and postal services. It does so using a real-time API call. It uses proprietary address validation technology to check and correct typos, inaccuracies and incorrect data.

It also identifies and corrects invalid billing information. If the billing information is invalid, it is important to investigate the order before it is processed. Normally, transactions with invalid billing information are cleared within 5-7 business days. If the error is due to an honest mistake, merchants can choose to decline the transaction.

Experian's address verification service API is designed to enhance customer satisfaction, while helping businesses maintain quality data. It allows businesses to collect verified addresses from websites without disrupting their current workflow. It uses NCOA (National Change of Address) and CASS (Canadian Address Standards System) databases from the USPS. It provides addresses that meet CASS certification requirements for faster delivery.

The Predictive API is an application programming interface that uses auto-complete functions and predictive text to help prospects enter their addresses. The result is a quick and seamless process that allows for increased customer satisfaction. It is often embedded in website forms.

The AccuMail Verify API is USPS CASS certified. It adds elements like ZIP + 4 and County Codes to validate addresses. It also corrects address entries at the point of entry. It is available in a REST or SOAP interface.
